And a happier comment….it might have been with just hours to spare, but this one applied to four colleges today. This has been a rough, rough time to be a senior and a rough time to be Alice. I’m so proud of her for getting to this point. If I could distill last semester into a quote it would be Churchill’s “if you’re going through hell, keep going.” It hasn’t always been pretty or pleasant, but damn if she hasn’t kept going.
