Three sort of related things:
1) Alice made this for you, weary world. ❤️

2) After reading her application for AP studio art, I would sum up her artistic philosophy as “art should make the world a better place.” I think she is living her mission.

3) Art is the only class she is pursuing AP/Honors level. Now that I’m on the downside of a Type A kid getting through most of high school and the college maze, I’m really really good with a Alice’s philosophy. Kids do not need to take AP classes to get into good schools and the scholarship myth pushes them WAY too hard in my opinion. Marg really could have used this button making those decisions. I feel like she sacrificed too much of her “now” preparing for a “later”. Hard lesson.
