I will see her every day for the rest of my life, in my children’s faces, in their creativity, intelligence and sense of wonder. I will think of her every time I cut my finger while cooking (she wore more band-aids than rings). I will see her in my sister and brother’s love for their children and the way they place family at the center of all things. I will see her in my aunt’s face, and every time I look in the mirror in my own eyes. Even without all of these reminders, I would miss her every day for the rest of my life. Amazing and beloved mother and grandmother, we were lucky to have her. She passed away last Thursday, a year after the recurrence of her breast cancer. Many beautiful pictures of here here:
